Why is my scan not in the ZIP?

Many scans are one big picture drawn as the page itself, not as a separate embedded image object. This tool lists images that appear as image marks in the page content. If you need each full page as a picture file, use a workflow that rasterizes pages instead of extracting embedded objects.

Will I get the original file format?

We decode each embedded image and save it as JPEG when there is no transparency, or PNG when an alpha channel is present—so files open reliably in common viewers.

Are duplicates included twice?

No. Identical image data is stored only once in the ZIP, even if it appears on several pages.

What if the ZIP is empty or the run stops with an error?

Some PDFs only contain text and vector lines, or use image data in ways we do not expand here. Try another file or check that the document actually contains embedded photos or bitmap figures.
